COUNTRY STYLE STEAK AND EGGS WITH GRILLED TOMATOES
Ingredients
- 1 Double Red 1904® 8 Ounce Sirloin Steak
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 2 tomatoes; halved
- 2 farm fresh eggs; cooked sunny side up
- 2 sprigs fresh thyme
Instructions
- Heat a cast iron pan with olive oil.
- Place frozen steak in pan, and cook on one side for approximately 5-7 minutes, flip the steak and cook and additional 5-7 minutes.
- Remove from pan and let rest for another 5 minutes.
- Season steak with salt and pepper and set aside.
- Cook eggs and tomatoes seasoned with salt and pepper in cast iron pan and set aside.
- Place steak, eggs, and tomatoes on a plate sprinkled with fresh thyme.
- Enjoy!
